SL Green Realty Corp. Pledges $1 Million to Help Victims and Families of World Trade Center Disaster NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 18, 2001--SL Green Realty Corp. (NYSE: SLG - news) announced today that it has donated $1 million to assist the victims and families of the World Trade Center tragedy. The contribution will go to the Twin Towers Fund.

Stephen L. Green, chairman and chief executive officer of SL Green Realty Corp. said, "The employees of SL Green Realty Corp. are devastated by the shocking acts of terrorism launched against the United States last week. As New Yorkers, we watched in horror the destruction of the magnificent World Trade Center and the tragic loss of so many of our fellow New Yorkers, Americans and others from around the world. SL Green Realty is also encouraging their employees to assist on a personal level in whatever way they can, through donating blood or by making individual financial contributions to relief agencies. In addition, the company will match all individual financial contributions made by SL Green employees.
